ABOUT THE ARTIST
Azul Mariana Quetzalli is a Tapatía* illustrator, designer and educator. In 2014 she moved to Oakland, California to further her career as a professional creative and has since found a second home in its community.
Her work touches on themes of identity, heritage, and spiritual exploration, and it’s best recognized for its recurrent use of organic shapes and vegetation.
She currently works as a Visual Designer and Mentor at BAYCAT, where she helps youth in underserved communities find empowerment through their creative voice and develop a professional presence in the media industry.
