Hola, my name is Azul Quitzé*. I'm a Mexican illustrator and digital creator based in San Francisco, CA.

My art practice is largely dedicated to expressing the pride and love I hold for my cultural heritage, indigenous ancestry and other intersections of my identity. I choose to center the beauty of brown and black skin; the nuances of love and gender; the untold stories of marginalized communities.

 

I primarily work with digital tools, but gravitate towards palettes and brushes that mimic the warmth and textural quality of analog mediums.

 

In my free time you'll likely find me watching 3 hour long video-essays on my favorite video games and movies. I also host weekly livestreams, where we work on art projects and indulge in the occasional gaming session.
