Hola,

my name is Azul Quitzé (she/her). I'm a Mexican illustrator and designer based in San Francisco, CA.

My art practice is largely dedicated to expressing the pride and love I hold for my cultural roots, indigenous ancestry and other intersections of my identity. I choose to center the beauty of brown and black skin; the nuances of love and gender; the untold stories of marginalized communities.

 

I primarily work with digital tools, but gravitate towards palettes and brushes that mimic the warmth and textural quality of traditional mediums.

 

In my free time, you'll likely find me watching 3-hour long video-essays on my favorite video games and movies.
