Azul

is a Mexican illustrator and designer based in San Francisco, CA. Over the past decade she has worked primarily with women-owned businesses and non-profit organizations that center the voices of marginalized communities.

Through her creative practice, Azul celebrates her cultural roots and indigenous ancestry. Her work is shaped by a love of warm colors, soft textures, botanical motifs and minimalist compositions.

When she doesn't have a pencil on hand, she's likely dancing to cumbia, journaling at a local coffee shop, or exploring fictional worlds through video games and films.
